Wed -> submit report drafts
thurs -> prep for presentation
fri -> presentation, seminar
TGIF! -> leave for london
each week is like a routine, back from travel (without any proper sleep of cos!) then sleepless again on mon & tues to rush out reports.. im blessed that i have no exams this term!! haha dun get jealous ppl.. but im working really hard now. the traveling is killing me! traveling is fun but the downside is that it is really tiring & im missing out on interaction time with my other exchange friends! so no more traveling for the next few weeks..
ok more about London.. it was a meeting of old friends! i did not feel that much of a tourist.. yea but meeting friends overseas was really cool.
1st night in london
i had to navigate by my self to weiye's lodging in south kensington. But the bus service for C1 close! so i had to find alternatives.. lucky my hp could still send smses, else i would be staying overnight at the subway station. found night buses but did not have coins for the tickets so i went to buy a cheese&ham puff for 2pounds=6sing and ask for coins in change. ex but the puff was heavenly on a cold rainy night. made my way to the house, disturbing many passerby on the way by asking for directions.

single trip = 2pounds, day pass = 3.5pounds.. so got the day pass instead.. transport is crazily ex in london!!!

the second morning, we went to play street soccer! haha playing football on my first time visit to london?!? frankly i think its mad.. but anyhow it felt like home again when u r playing with the same bunch of sporeans. there were zy, weiming, jinkai, rw, duan, junming, justin and me.. all in london at the same time! after that we decided to go back, bathe n meet in chinatown for lunch... but i was held up by a HUGE demostration agast bush and the iraq war.. damn so i was late for the meeting.

we ate a wonderful meal at bayswater's magic wok.. its was awesome.. like a reunion dinner too. dun drool at sight of this pic.
thereafter, i went back to weiye house to play mahjong.. not bad won 4pounds! my train pass for the next day!
the next day, we went to see the changing of guards, the new emirates stadium of arsenal and took a walk by river thames.. here are some pics.

visit harrods when it is open!
