Spain (Continued)

Day 4 MADRID
Madrid and Barcelona were really different cities.. it had that "classier" feeling.. bernabeu paled slightly in comparsion with nou camp. But i was still really Excited there!

Capital of Spain..

PArk in Madrid!!

Its such a tranquil place.. nice blue sky matched by the cool green turfs n serene water bodies. highly recommended for families and couples who r in Madrid!

rainbow..

We went to the Arte Reina Sofia (Madrid biggest art gallery) to look at Picasso's works

Madrid train terminal.. housing a tropical rainforest!! hmm i ve seen this on tv before.. cool

Sarah and her Churros.. its everywhere in spain. Its like fried dough then u add sugar and chocolate.. its potent for the weight gain!! but the girls like them anyway

Plaza Mayor.. huge square for people to dine, drink and have festivities

Day5 MADRID
Bullfight is the traditional sports of spain.. we went to its stadium.. unfortunately its was not the season yet.. else i would have definitely caught a match!

typical cafes and street signs.

Royal Palace.. HUGE. can compare with London. Music always filled the air in Spain.. people basking everwhere

Park besides the palace

Some last night pics on before we left Madrid...

Day 6 BARCELONA
Another 7 hours of overnight bus and we were back in barcelona. went to a gothic church.

then to the beach! the mediterranean sea!! too bad its was not warm enough for more people to be engaged in activities at the beach.. im sure it will be really nice in summer! We had a "picnic" here.. bread with cheese n tuna.. haha we were poor and had to make do with it.

The girls didn't want to follow me.. but i went anyway.. the highlight of the trip........ NOU CAMP! yes i went back and visited the 98,000 seater stadium n its interior. paid 11euros for the trip but it was worth every penny!!
the tactics room where theplayers wash up n listen to the manager's strategy.. i can smell the fresh scent of the turf when i walked out of the dug out.

Magnificent!

Players like Maradona, Cruyff, Hristov, Ronaldinho have walked through this tunnel. there is a chapel along the tunnel where players can pray before the match.
Trophies galore!

In the press box where the commentry takes place.. nice view of the pitch
The Barcelona FC museum within NOU Camp
